Ingredients
What will you need (will make approx 5-6 bites)
- 100g self raising flour
- 25g soft butter
- 5 chive stems
- 25g feta cheese
- 50ml whole milk
What to do
- Ask a grown up to pre-heat the oven to 200°C fan or 200°C. Line the baking tray with baking paper.
- Put the flour and butter into the bowl and rub them together with your fingers until the mixture becomes crumbly and looks like breadcrumbs.
- Cut the chives into small pieces, you can use scissors, or a knife (remember to always do with a grown up).Crumble the feta cheese using a form or your fingers and add to the bowl too. Stir with a fork.
- Pour most the milk into the mixture and stir will with the fork until it all sticks together. You may need to add a little more of the milk if it’s dry. Shape the dough with your hands into a ball.
- Sprinkle a little flour onto your workmat. Squash the mixture with you hands until it is about 5mm thick. Using a cutter, gently cut out shapes and put them on the baking tray and put in the oven for about 8-10 minutes until they have risen and are golden on the top.
