Ingredients
- Double trouble chocolate muffins! (will make 6)
- 62g soft margarine
- 62g caster sugar
- 1 egg
- 1⁄2 teaspoon vanilla essence
- 2.5 tablespoons milk
- 100g self-raising flour)
- 7g cocoa powder
- 37g milk chocolate
What to do
- With the help of a grown up, pre-heat the oven to 190”C (180” Fan oven)
- Cream the soft margarine and sugar together in the large bowl with the wooden
spoon until light and fluffy. - Beat the eggs, vanilla essence and milk together in a small bowl or cup using a fork. Measure out the flour and cocoa into another bowl.
- Beat a little of the egg mixture into the margarine and sugar mixture and then add a little of the cocoa mixture. Continue adding in this way until all of it has been mixed in.
- Spoon the mixture into the paper cases until each one is half full. Put one square into each muffin case and the spoon the rest of the muffin mixture into the paper cases.
- Bake the muffins in the oven for 15-18 minutes until well risen and the tops are cracked. Cool slightly and are best served warm. Well done you did it!!
